Teaching Philosophy

I attended a small liberal arts college for my undergraduate degree, and my experiences there sparked my passion to be a teacher-scholar. I am so grateful to now teach at a small liberal arts college where I get to make genuine connections with students and can continuously focus on improving my teaching. Please feel free to read more in my teaching philosophy statement (linked below).

Courses Taught

The courses I teach regularly at Wofford College include: Foundations of American Politics, American Political Development II (covering 1865-present), and the U.S. Congress.

I have taught courses on political interest groups, the American presidency, and political satire. While in graduate school, I was a teaching assistant for introductory courses in research methods and comparative politics, as well as introductory and advanced courses in American politics and international relations.
